Optimism

As I do almost every year, I've started plants from seeds. Unlike other years, it seems to be going well this year.

Don't you think this speaks volumes of optimism from a woman who can barely bend for any amount of time?

Some of them are just doing amazingly well. Some are things I obviously shouldn't plant - like petunias - that aren't yet an inch tall two weeks after planting. None of the coneflower came up but I figured it was worth a try. I'll sprinkle the seeds in front when it's warmer and just be pleasantly suprised if some grow. The salvia, verbena, sweet pea and holly hocks are all doing well. Everytime I go to Walmart for any little essential I seem to be buying another package of seeds, or two or six. Someone stop me.
